So its that special time of month. I have been sooo looking forward to receiving this months ‘unicorn vs mermaids edition’ glossybox. The box itself looked good enough to eat, the gorgeous girly pastel colours and the fact that unicorns and mermaids dominated this months theme brought out the inner child in me and I actually got excited!20171015_130301

I really wanted the  Mermaid box and Glossybox didn’t disappoint as usual. I got the #glossymermaid box with 5 full sized fantasy items worth over just £50 and I think I will get use out of all of them so that makes me a happy girly !

The first product that caught my eye and the most impressive is the Makeup Revolution Mermaids VS Unicorns Eyeshadow Palette

These 12 colour popping shades are extremely mermaid like, some more daring than others. I’ve already used a mixture of the purple colours on my eyes and I have to say I’m going to start experimenting more as I loved this look ! The eyeshadow was easy to apply and a super cool addition ! IMG_20171016_180851_413

I was quite surprised to see the Kawaii Enterprise Brush Cleaning Egg as I only took part in the dreaded cleaning of makeup brushes the other day and did this with great difficulty. I’ve never seen or heard of these little beauties before so I’m just wondering whether this little egg will work wonders with my brushes. I hope so !!!

Another impressive addition to this months box was the Bang Beauty Cream Colour. This stylishly packaged pink product can be applied to the eyes, cheeks and lips its more like a stain, its a lovely colour and I will definitely use in my daily makeup routine.

For me the Lord & Berry Magic Brow Perfect eyebrow pencil was definitely a beauty bonus. I like my eyebrows to be on point everyday so this one went straight into my makeup collection. The pencil colour and texture are spot on in fact I think I would actually buy this product in the future!!

Last but by no means least the product I wasn’t  overly keen on was the Sleek Crème to Powder Blush. This was purely because of the colour ‘ Gerbera’! Which ironically is one of my favourite flowers, but the colour is too orange for my liking. However the application from crème to powder were pretty impressive, just a shame about the colour!!
